Point the camera at the barcode on the pack. Once it is recognised, that product's page opens.

The review you leave becomes a reference for the next person.
Not just food
Beyond snacks and drinks, household goods, cleaning products and skincare work the same way. Most packaged products carry an EAN-8 or EAN-13 barcode, and both formats are supported.

Common questions
Does it cost anything?
No. Every feature is free during the public beta, and there are no ads.
Is there an Android version?
Scanpik is iOS only for now. It needs iOS 17.6 or later and is installed through TestFlight. There is no timeline for an Android version yet.
What if the product isn't listed?
You can add it from inside the app: enter a name, pick a category, upload a photo. Once submitted, anyone who scans that barcode will find it.
Who writes the reviews?
All of them are written by signed-in users. No brand pays for placement or ranking, and there is no sponsored content. Inappropriate content can be reported from inside the app.
What happens to my personal data?
Accounts are created through Sign in with Apple. See the Privacy Policy for what is collected and how it is used.
